NEWYORK, SC-ID MEDIA NEWS -- Demockratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has officially named Minnesotta Governor Team Walz as her running mate in the US Presidential election in november.
Officially partnering with Walz,the two immediately compaigned in the state of philadelphia and will begin a multy-day tour of the state.in remarks to a crowd of more then 10.000 at temple university, Walz recounted his childhood in nebraska,his 24 years in the army national guard and his time as afootball coach.
"it was my students who encouraged my to run.they saw in me what I wanted to instill in them : a commitment to the common good a believe that one persone can make a difference," Walz said as reported by routers
At the campaign Walz also attacked republican presidential candidate Donal Trump. " He ( trump )
has made a mockery of our laws,sewed chaos and division, and thats non even mentioning his record as president," Wals said
Kamala harris chose Walz as her running mate in the 2024 US Presidential election because of his execetive experience,military service and track record of winning offer white voters who have for years learned toward tramp.
Walz was elected to the republican - learning district in the U.S. House of Representative in 2006 and served for 12 years, before being elected governor of minnesota in 2018 and 2022
He pushed for progresive policies like free school meals, tracling climate change,tax cutc for the middle class,and increased paid leave for workers
